Three Peaks have been retailing outdoor clothing and footwear for over 23 years. In addition to Sedbergh, they also also have a shop in Hawes.
Garth Steadman, Butcher
Established in Sedbergh in 1960, the award winning butchers, Steadmans are renowned for attentive, friendly and helpful staff who give good advice and ideas coupled with finest quality products giving a reputation second to none.
Steadmans pride themselves on innovative and creative approach to developing high quality products and dishes to tempt the taste buds of friends and customers. R.F.G. Hollett & Son, Bookshop
Antiquarian booksellers specialising in topography, travel and natural history. Hollet's have a stock of some 20,000 fine, collectable and antiquarian books on three floors, at prices ranging from £15 to £75,000. They do not operate as a shop open to casual browsers but welcome clients by appointment at any mutually convenient time.
Green Door Sweet Shop
The Green Door is a traditional confectioners and sweet shop located in an historic 17th century listed building. The shop walls are lined with hundreds of jars of traditional and modern sweets.

Henry Wilson Books
Henry Wilson stocks a large range of new and second-hand books, magazines, timetables, working notices, rule books, maps, guides and publicity material covering most aspects of railways at home and abroad.
The stock covers steam, diesel and electric locomotives, railcars and multiple units; carriages and wagons; signalling; track, buildings, bridges, tunnels and earthworks; operation and working on standard gauge, broad gauge and narrow gauge in the UK and overseas. Stock ranges from fine antiquarian items contemporary with the beginnings of railways to many more recent out of print titles.
Most current UK railway titles are carried with an emphasis on specialist publishers such as Oakwood Press, Irwell Press and Wild Swan.
As well as railway material there are also books on industrial history and a range of titles covering other transport subjects including buses, trams, canals, coastal shipping, steam road vehicles, along with some general titles.

Sedbergh Market
An open air market is held in Sedbergh every Wednesday.
Starting in April 2007 this will incorporate a "Local Produce and Farmers Market" on the second Wednesday of every month offering locals and visitors alike a large choice of locally produced, quality products which include both food and craft items.

The Chair Workshop
Sandra Cotterell has been renovating old chairs. sofas and stools since 1989. She specialises in re-seating using natural materials - cane, rush, willow, rope, Danish cord and seagrass. Frame restoration is also undertaken.
All types of natural seating materials are stocked as well as the full range of Liberon wood restoration products for customers wishing to restore their own chairs.
The Chair Workshop also offers a tool sharpening service, bead jewelery repairs and restringing, haberdashery and tuition in chair restoration.
